Welcome to my homepage! I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Texas Tech University in the beautiful and rugged city of Lubbock, TX.

Before starting here in the fall of 2013, I worked as a postdoc in Dolores Albarracin's Social Action Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. Before that, I received my PhD in social-personality psychology at the University of Texas at Austin working under Jamie Pennebaker. I'm originally from northeast Kansas, but I'm ecstatic to be back in the second best state in the union.

Most of my research uses computerized text analysis (see liwc.net) to study how natural language reflects and influences social behavior and personality. For more information, see the links above or e-mail me at molly.ireland at gmail.com.
